Welcome to the Heart @ Work Auction Blog!For the past two years, my friend Jane and I have walked in the
Susan G Komen's 3 Day 60 Mile Walk.
To participate each of us needs to raise $2,300. With the help of Lynn and John Stalowy from the Bigfork Bay Cotton Co. and a myriad of artists, business associates, friends and family, each year we have been able to raise the needed amount.
We raise money in several ways, but the fundraiser we have come to rely on for the majority of the money is the Heart @ Work Auction.
The Heart @ Work Auction is extra special this year as most of the items donated are from the Etsy Communtiy/. I started inviting the Etsy artists to donate to our auction about a month ago, and a plethora of beautiful handmafe items items have been coming in daily!
If you are planning on attending the auction, make sure to stop by the Bigfork Bay Cotton Co. to see the items in person. If you are far away and cannot come to the auction, I am going to be posting the items on this blog. You can email me and submit a silent bid. Isn't that so great?
